Bear

Claire Isabella, or as I call her "Bear" turned EIGHT YEARS OLD on Monday, the 28th.  I thought seven was a huge number, but eight is rocking my world! We had her big birthday party with her friends a couple weeks ago, but we did celebrate with the family on Monday. No pictures, but it was a great time celebrating our sweet girl.

The thing about Claire is that she is not only so beautiful on the outside (I know I am biased, and this is my blog so quit hating :)), but she is even more beautiful on the inside. She has the kindest heart and is so giving.  She is the best big sister the littles could ask for and takes such good care of them.  Claire is always so sweet to friends and never wants to leave anyone out or feel bad.  She is such an old soul and is so grown up for her age, which can, at times, be a little rough as well.  Not going to lie, she has a temper and she and I can go round and round until Shane intervenes :).  The thing is, when I was pregnant with Claire, I prayed that she would be my best friend, just like my mom was to me, and that we would forever be close.  I know the Lord delivered on my prayers.  As much as it saddens me that she is growing up and not my itty bitty , round faced, big brown eyed, with sweet bangs baby girl, I am so looking forward to the coming years of us growing even closer and developing a relationship I will only always have with her.

I will forever thank Claire for rocking my world 8 years ago and giving me an all inclusive pass to motherhood.  She changed us for the better and showed and still shows us everyday what life truly is about.  God's grace shines through that baby girl and I know that He has HUGE plans for her.

Now that I am a complete mess with mascara down to my toes, here is a picture of my big, too close to 10 year old girl on her birthday!!

Claire-bear, We love you so much and are so proud of you!!  We thank the Lord for you everyday and know He will continue to bless your life!  You are star and we can't wait to watch you to grow up (just slow down ;))!!  Love you to the moon - Daddy, Mama, Owen, and Bree
