Owen can now unbuckle seat belts. How did I find out???....
We load up in the car this afternoon, me, Mom, Claire and O, to go meet Tara for lunch. Owen was messing with his car seat, I told him to stop, not really sure what he was doing, but he stopped and we were good to go.
We get on the road and just as I take the first turn...we hear a loud commotion in the back seat!
Owen's car seat, with him in it mind you, has completely turned and fell out of the captain's chair into the floor!! Now, I am driving with my son face first into the van floor calmly saying "want out, want out"...Mom screaming and climbing to the back to, unsuccessfully, pick up the car seat with the HEAVY child in it, Claire screaming "Mama pull over up there!!" (she knew quicker than I did a good spot to stop) and I am uncontrollably laughing my head off. I pull over, get him back in the seat and all was well, but we all, including Claire and O, were laughing hysterically!!
I have finally accepted the fact that we will never be Owen-proofed...and he is only 2! I can only imagine of what's to come...parents lock up your girls!!!
Nonna dressed them alike today (as alike as possible) and she told me I need to get a pic. After this drama, we pulled into Chilis and smart Nonna says "Now you have to take a picture of them to put on the blog with this story!" =)
We could not get a shot of Owen cooperating, so here are all 3!
Have a GREAT weekend!!!

That is crazy! Kids are so smart. The pictures are exactly how it goes at my house too. No one ever has it together for the same picture! =)
Haha.. That's hilarious!! I wish I was there during the drama!
Hey Rachel! Thanks for the sweet comment. Why haven't I found you before?! Your children are adorable. I bet you 'bout died when Owen's carseat hit the floor. Scary at the moment, funny to laugh about later, huh? Thanks again for visiting my blog, I'll add ya to my blog roll chica!
Ha Ha! Cracking me up... Love the pictures!
So funny! I laughed out loud when I read that part about him laying face down and was completely calm saying he wanted out. Can you imagine what he was thinking when you were making that turn?
Wow! I wish you had that on video! I can totally see Owen upside down saying "want out" in an ever so calm voice. I am still laughing about that. Haha!
