Night-life at the Browns...cue the disco lights and music

Tonight at Kitchen Queens, Lane and I were quizzing sweet Brooke, Shane's younger sister, about when is she ever going to give us some nieces and/or nephews!! She was so funny, saying she is not ready, can barely take care of her dogs, blah blah BLAH!! Brooke and Mitch would make great parents, you should see them with all the Brown kids.

It makes me laugh because there was a day when me and Shane THOUGHT we were not ready and kids would change a life we were not ready to "give up". No more going out on the weekends, always being tied down...at one point I cried to Shane (when Heath and Lane came home from their honeymoon while I was pregnant with Claire) that we would never be able take another vacation again!

Now fast forward 5 fabulous years, 2 sweet babies, a new house, a mini van, and 3 great vacations....and OMG, we still have a life...it has just changed.

Yeah, going out on the weekends was great "pre-kids"...but I would not give up a weekend night like this for anything...

(humor me and pretend you are hearing a good dance beat)...boom..boom..boom..chicka chicka..boom..boom...play doh night!

I mean, seriously, does this not look like a blast (look at Cooper and Owen in this picture, I laugh my head off every time I see it)...bonus - no hangovers the next morning =)...

Love you Brooke - I already have Tara on board, ready to make babies (she just has to get Drew there =))...you got me thinking tonight and I remembered we took these pictures Sunday night! Thanks Sterling for the great play doh set for O's birthday!!
