Mudder's Day :)....

Happy Mother's Day all you fabulous mamas out there...or as Owen says "Happy Mudder's Day!" :)...

This Mother's day was just fabulous this year!  Every year it is great and this one did not disappoint. I know I said this last year, but this is my blog and I will repeat myself if I want :)...I am just so blessed to by my kids' Mama!  Mother's day is always a good reminder of that for me!  Mother's Day is all about Shane doing everything while I shop, lounge and get a pedicure me appreciating these three little beings God has given me and trusted me to mother.  There is no greater description of true love than our Father's for us and all of us Mama's are so blessed to have that love from which to learn.  I know that God blessed me with each child with a specific purpose, in my short 7 years of parenting, here is how each child was made for me so far:

Claire - Claire is my smallest bestie!  She is the smartest, most patient, kind hearted young lady I have ever met.  She is my mini-me, but so much better.  Claire has a heart filled with the Lord and strives to think of ways to make life better for everyone around her.  The Lord knew that with my busy lifestyle, I was going to need little eyes and ears to keep me in check :).  Claire is the first to correct me when I say a bad word say impolite things, the first to help when I seem stressed, or even try to comfort me when I seem upset.  Now, Claire has her moments and she has tried me in more ways than anyone else, so far (we will get to B :)).  I feel like me, Shane, and Claire all grew up together and at times, she is ahead of us in so many ways!! Claire is definitely my gorgeous reminder to be my very best!  Love her and I hope we all can have a heart like Claire-bear.

Owen - Owen is my sweet boy I could never imagine before!  The Lord knew that I knew nothing about boys and needed to learn as I was going to have two girls :)!  The Lord also taught me true innocence with Owen as there is nothing in this world more innocent then Owen Brown!  Owen's smile makes happy deep within my heart and is the warmest feeling on earth.  His deep emotions have brought me patience and a more sensitive feeling towards men - in other words I am learning to have more patience with Shane when he dares get sick or hurt :) I have learned that men are emotional and are boys at heart :).  My world has definitely slowed down since Owen and love him for that.  Owen is irreplaceable to me and our family, I love that boy so much it takes my breath away!

Bree - Oh sweet Bree is my angel baby!  There is a light in her eyes I that swear are angel wings.  Her voice is the sweetest thing I have ever heard and her laugh practically brings tears to my eyes.  She was such a miracle and I owe the beginning of my walk back to the Lord to that sweet baby.  Bree is my reminder of prayer and worship.  The Lord blessed us with her and taught us faith and the true meaning of His grace.  Bree has changed me and her daddy so much.  She rules this house and everywhere she goes whether you like it or not and we are all in Bree's world :).  She is going to try us probably more than the other two combined in the years to come, but the Lord has big plans for Bree Leighton and that strong personality; we are just along for the ride.  The Lord has led us to big plans in our family since the birth of B, and we know it is the beginning of so much more.  Bree is my angel and I will never stop kissing those cheeks and holding her tight!

Now that I have myself a big mess of tears and snot, let's look at the mother's day goodies :)....

Owen and Claire both brought home homemade bath salts Friday from school :)...they picked out the smell and color and made them for me, how sweet is that? Claire and Owen were VERY proud!  They also had cards filled out about me ;).....

Shane and the kids bought this new light for me for the breakfast nook :)...

Friday, we had our annual Mother's Day Pedicures. I checked Claire out of school at lunch and she joined me, Nonna, Tara, Nicole and Bree.  She loves it...and so do I!

Today we went to church and then to a yummy lunch all together with my family.  The Williamson's also joined us and we had such a fabulous day!  Here are a bunch of pictures Tara took of our families...Blessed!!!!!

Being a mother is by far the hardest thing I will ever do and yet also the most rewarding.  My three monkeys mean the absolute world to me and I love them to the moon and back!

AWWW, that was so sweet! Glad you had a great day!

Where did you guys go eat? The place looks familiar, but I can't place it...

Oh, never mind--just saw on your sister's blog that it was Fred's. We live down the street from there and LOVE it (especially their ribs...and I'm not a rib girl)!

I am a Long time follower of your blog. I normally don't comment, but I just had to know where you got that adorable pig on your table. It's just precious. Thanks for always sharing your family and honesty.
