We had a great weekend!! I mean seriously, a GREAT weekend!! We dropped off the kids at Shane's parents' house Saturday morning and did not get them back until late Sunday afternoon! We had the whole weekend to celebrate our 10 year Anniversary. It was FANtastic. We shopped, we ate good food, we moved slower than usual, we relaxed, and laughed a ton. It had been a long time since we were able to just chill, just the two of us and it was so wonderful. Saturday, Shane surprised me and bought me a Yurman ring!! I am so excited about it and absolutely LOVE it. We had dinner reservations Saturday night at 9pm...the only reason so late, because we could...such rebels :).
By the time we picked up the kids, we actually missed them and were excited to get them home...they were not as excited to see us (love Nana and Papa's house) but we loved on them a bunch last night. We also tried a new local place here for brunch yesterday that was to die for!! Can you say carrot cake waffles and lemon souffle pancakes??!!! Here are some random pics from the weekend...

Rachel I've been following your blog for awhile. I saw your sister's blog and then something I read lead me to yours.
Glad you had a wonderful anniversary. Me and my husband will be celebrating our 11th at the end of the month. Trying to figure out what to do. If we can get someone to take our kids that would be just to chill. Your ring is cute!!!!
Glad you had a great weekend! I wanted to try out Tusk and Trotter when I was up that way a few weeks ago, but I was nervous it might not be kid friendly. Sounds delish!
We had Taco Bueno for dinner last night, too. :)
Glad you two had a great weekend!! I am following your blog now that I read your working moms post! :))
Sounds like a fun weekend!! Love the ring! So pretty
I've been having some of the exact same issues. I blogged about it recently. It feels so good to find my identity in Christ and not this world!
