Friday night, I made a big dinner for the family and Jessica! The guys ended up going to a late movie and us girls hung out and talked late. The weather is absolutely gorgeous here right now, so I started to feel little twinges of summer!!
Saturday, we hung around all day and then made dinner to take to some good friends...since they just had twin boys!!! Leah is one of my oldest friends and I miss her so much!! We had a great time catching up, meeting all of our many babies, especially those super sweet babies, Jacobey and John Thomas! I told Shane on the way home, we are not going to let this long go by again without seeing them!! Claire was so interested in hearing all about how I knew Leah, that we lived together once, I met Shane at her house AND that she was my best friend. It was a great moment with her....Leah - If you are reading, LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!!! Hopefully we will see each other again VERY soon!!
Today, we stayed home from church as Bree is still nursing a cold and we knew she would not be a good baby in church =(. Sooooo we cleaned house all day and it was great!! The windows are open, the kids have been playing outside, it has been great! The best part of today, is that Bree Leighton is SLEEPING IN HER ROOM!!! I can't believe I let her go so long, but she is finally sleeping in her own bed today during her naps and then she will tonight!
I have such a peace about me now that I have not felt in a long time!! Thank you Lord for everything and knowing exactly what I need!!! Here's to a great, busy week ahead!!!
BTW- I have to include cute pics of the kids...Claire all dressed up for Crazy Sock Day Friday...And Bree and Owen looking sweet as usual....
