Our Easter weekend was wonderful!! Friday night, Shane and I hosted our Annual Egg Dying Party with the fam. All the Brown cousins were there...and well it was utter chaos. Between Caiden chunking eggs in the cups of dye, Sterling making our only spill (although he and Lane made the prettiest eggs), Claire and Clayton precisely working on their eggs and completely irritated with the little ones, to my little maniac O trying to actually drink the egg dye, we laughed and had a great time!!! It really was a great time and I would not have had it any other way!! Please note: Owen was dressed super cute in a turquoise blue polo, but Poppy came over that afternoon with a new McFadden jersey and well...the rest was history =)...

Then Saturday Shane and I went to the Easter Drama at Mom and Jake's church. That night we stayed up late as Claire refused to go to bed, anxious for the Easter Bunny. We put together the kiddos baskets, even one for Miss Bree! In addition to other new toys and clothes, Claire and O both got new rain boots and umbrellas! As well, the weather was fore casted to be COLD AND RAINY and on Easter, Shane went ahead and hid eggs downstairs for the kids (like the Easter bunny did it)...

Then on our way to church...Owen refused to remove his rain boots! He was already in a bad mood so there was no way I was going to remove the boots =)...but I think they were too cute!!

After church Sunday, Shane and I had both of our big families over for Easter dinner. The food was delicious and the company was great!! What a great way to celebrate our Savior and how He saved us all!! We are so thankful for our life and all of our friends and family!!!

I am giggling about the boots... he is such a cutie. And I love Claire's curls!!! I haven't even THOUGHT to put those in Keira's hair! Hot roller curls fall out in like 30 minutes.

I love that he wont take off his boots. Hubby, baby and I were at Home Depot this past weekend and there was a little boy with his dad wearing rain boots, shorts and a batman cape. Some parents may think this is inappropriate. I on the other hand thought it was adorable!!!!
