Yes, I will say it - I was SUPER MOM today!! I can say that now I am laying on the couch, TOTALLY worn out and aching all over!! Seriously, Owen is doing whatever he wants, I think he just ate every piece of candy that he got from school today (I may or may not have eaten half of it with him) and Tara took Claire to spend the night with her. Shane is on his way home right now from Dallas (been gone for two nights) and I am OFFICIALLY checked out. So here was our day...
Today was the kids' Easter parties at school. As well, they took their Spring pictures. Usually this is just a little more hectic of a day, but in addition to all that, I had to be in meetings all morning, immediately after I dropped the kids off! So, I could not roll out of bed, get the kids all dolled up and just wear whatever I can find =). I had to get myself work presentable AND get the kids ready on an already busy morning. Somehow, we made it out of the house today with both kids dressed up, Easter baskets with candy filled eggs, "Rabbit Food" snacks for both classes (I bagged up carrots and then apples with caramel sauce), Easter presents for each of the four teachers, and backpacks!! It may sound like no big deal, but it was INSANE this morning. On top of that, I managed to take pictures =)...
How sweet are they all dressed up!!! My big girl!!Owen did not want to cooperate...These next few pictures are shots of the kids modeling the boxes my Mom made for them to give to each of their teachers for Easter!! They were GORGEOUS!! Mom just started a blog/business where she is selling gifts and home decor things like these!! You can go see her at the Scarlett Boutique! With our baskets - O would not put down his SECOND pop tart...BTW - Thank you Mr. Photography guy - Claire was able to debate me on every (made up) reason why she cannot have a bunny:
Mama said they stink - Jenny the bunny that they took the picture with today smelled great - she said you said you gave her a bath..
Mama said they scratch - Claire said that Jenny's nails were soft and you kept them cut.
Mama said they poop everywhere- You said that Jenny will whine when she needs to go outside (I think Claire made that one up)
Dear Easter Bunny - PLEASE NO RABBITS FOR THE BROWNS NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES CLAIRE BEGS!!!!
Have a great night!!!!

Awe, that dress is so precious on her!
They look soo cute! Happy Easter Brown family! :)
All that on top of these silly shirts! What a day! Glad you survived!!!
Oh, and the dress is adorable!!!
Her arguments are hilarious! I will add that- a girl that married my hubby's friend had a rabbit that would eat holes in their carpet. Like, so big you had to put the couch over it, holes. I vote NO on the bunny.
I just love that adorable hair! They are both precious! Hope you are feeling well!!
An internet high five to you, super mom! =)
p.s. is that a little apron or part of the the dress (on Claire)? Its darling, but i've never seen anything like that!
