The scene - Shane, me, Claire and Owen making a quick trip to
WalMart to pick up some "
necessities". Owen is riding in the cart (not in the seat, but with the groceries), furiously as he wants to "
waaaaaallllkkk". We are finally done, just picked up some ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches, making our way to the cash registers. Owen is mad that we put the ice cream in the cart with him for two reasons: 1. He wants to open them NOW! and 2. "They are
coooooold!". So he proceeds to throw, I mean CHUNK, one of the boxes out of the cart. We all laugh, Shane gets on to him and we keep moving. Shane moves the huge thing of paper towels
kind of on top of Owen to be funny and keep Owen still. Owen is laughing....
We walk a ways farther, when all of a sudden, a thing of dish washing soap comes flying out of the cart, spraying soap everywhere, including Shane's face, shirt and glasses!! Falling to the ground, the soap is all OVER the place. Shane moves the towels and Owen is covered in soap as well as ALL of our groceries!!! We are all laughing so hard....I grab the soap bottle off the floor and we pick up the pace....

I think Kinley Bella has a crush on Owen! She was sitting in my lap when I was reading this and she said, "Ooooh. What dat name?" He is a little cutie! =)

Kids in a wmt are always interesting! My nephew once threw all the rubber balls he could find down action alley one day! It was a hoot watching people dodge the balls/not see them coming!

I feel so sorry for the poor kid who has to mop up after all of us! We recently emptied an entire carton of blackberries and splattered pomegranate yogurt all over the aisle... But it wasn't dish soap! What a night you had!
Where was the camera? Priceless.

And while O was destroying aisle 6, that was Jonah you heard screaming bloody murder in the Coke isle because he was also sitting in the back with all the groceries, got mad (for who knows what reason - terrible 2's NO DOUBT!!!) and started to LITERALLY kick in all the boxes of food in the back of the cart. I move them out of the way before he can get to the eggs, and give him a quick busting across the backside, and you would have thought I cut off his leg. Four isles later, he's still screaming at the top of his lungs and everyone on that side of the store was staring at me like, my gosh lady, what'd you do to that poor child?! I'm doing my best to remain calm (and sweat free) and try to manage a smile to each passerby (cuz who wants to be known as THAT MOM?!) Can you say "Check out as fast as we can so I can get you home to your FATHER"?!
