Shane and I decided Owen needed to get out of the house and have more interaction with other kids. Gymnastics is over as he was only tackling children rather than attempting any exercise and he was only getting child interaction at Church on Sundays (besides playing with Claire and his cousins). So we decided to go ahead and enroll him in the same Sonshine School as Claire, but only one day a week. The best part, Lane was his teacher!! He was beside himself excited as he got to go to "shkool" with Claire! I was actually pretty good about it, I didn't know how I would react to leaving him from 9-1. But I think being pregnant and needing some rest, helped me be okay with it =). And he didn't cry or anything, just walked right in and loved it. Lane even sent me a picture of him from her cell, he was just sitting at the table with his new friends, hands folded and paying attention...that did make me cry! So my baby is now a big school boy and had so much fun...I held my breath that he would hurt someone and he did just fine!! Here are some pictures of the kids on his first day of school...
Owen has hit this stage where he needs a drink in hand at ALL times. He now takes one to bed. This was one of those mornings...
Owen and Claire - She was excited for him to go too!! I took her to class first and as I was leaving with Owen to take him to his class, she says to me "Tell them that he needs to learn his ABC's, how to potty, and how to be nice, okay?". Priceless...
"Smile Owen, good job Claire! Owen put your drink down."Then I took the drink =)....look at Claire still smiling, such a pro =)!Now we are good =)....and we are adding one more to this bunch....pass me a donut =).
Hope you are having a good weekend!!!!!!

Hey- I'm feelin' him!! There are some days when I wish I had a drink in my hand all day! Ha ha.
The picture with no drink is a riot!!!!
you're right, claire is definitely a pro with the camera!
like kristy said, the pic where you took the drink away is too funny.
and that's so cool that Lane was his teacher!
and a big congrats to you and your fam on your upcoming arrival of baby brown 3!
I love the picture of Owen with his drink! That is so Caiden! He must go through atleast 8 glasses of juice a day! Crazy!!!
I can't believe how grown up Claire looks in these pictures!
So cute! And Owen was such a big boy and did so good on his first day!!!
that is so sweet! Claire is a great big sis!
awll too cute - I think it's harder on mommy when they first go to school - my lil man Braxton started this year - I had to hang tough - but I teared up.....I could see the tears in his eyes and his lip quiver..I about lost it. 5 Mins later - he was good to go...now he is a big boy - and will not kiss mommy good bye :-( It's so hard letting go!!
awwww.. he needs to stop growing up! that second pic is priceless
Awww! Such a big man going to school and not crying! (except when mom tries to take the cup away! LOL!) I have a lot of pictures of Luka, just like Owen, crying, while Bella the big sister pro at standing in front of the camera just smiling away. HAHA! A day away from the little man isn't too bad and when you're farther along it will be a nice break! :D
LOLOL Rachel, you are hilarious. OMG - what is with these boys and needing a drink TWENTY-FOUR/SEVEN?!?!?!?! If I hear "choc milk? choc MILK?! CHOC MILK?!?!" one more time, I'm sending Jonah over to your house. ha ha
Haha! I like Kristy's comment!!
This is so sweet that Claire and Owen are going to "shkool" together. I wish I was in there to see what Owen does all day. I wonder if Lane cracks up at him all day??? He makes me laugh just when he smiles with his little dimples because you know he is always up to something hilarious.
I love the lines Claire comes up with. "teach him to be nice". Haha, Claire.
Those pictures are soooo funny of him smiling one minute and having a "throw-down" the next. ......and the whole time has that beauty queen smile going. Those two are a scream. I love talking to Claire just to hear what she is going to say next. Wonder what this next little Brown is going to be like? I'm so excited to have another grandchild - I cannot wait!
Wow, congrats on the big news!! Love the pics they are soo cute! BabyBoy's cup is definitely a comfort for him sometimes too, that is so funny! The pics are so priceless! And how cool that Lane is his teacher! I think it's a great idea, one day a week to hang out with other little ones, learn, and give you a break! Perfect! I hope you're feelin alright girl!
